The bluetooth connection works great. I wouldn’t bother to buy the wireless version if I was starting over.

My wife was interested in a smaller footprint on her desktop, so we decided to get her the 5×8 wireless Intuous4. I think Wacom needs to release a major update to fix these issues. Since I’m left handed, I’m delighted that the tablet can be set up for either hand — about time. The Intuos4 is capable of recording levels of pressure, giving it the ability to recognize extremely subtle pressure for light brush strokes. The pen does not work well when going over links – the cursor jumps away from the link you want to select.
It works the same with both my Mac mini and Macbook Pro so I know it is the device. With the addition of more express keys and touch ring, I can now lean back in my chair and have all the functions that I need at my finger tips.
Pinpoint control with pencil stylus is much more productive than a mouse. This is a fail in every way. I’ve programmed all the functions I use the most into the Intuos 4 and rarely need to touch the keyboard on my laptop.
So either you leave you system on at the end of the day to charge the tablet, or it’s only wireless every other day. This allows you to choose the software that best suits your needs. I have been using the extra large Intuous3 12×12 for a couple years and feel a bit more control with the larger tablet area.
I intuoss4 bother to buy the wireless version if I was starting over. Really disappointed in the support or lack of from the company. See any errors on this page? I like the idea of all wireless devices, but the wireless mouse and tablet had some set up problems that required Wacom technical assistance.
It does not retain the connection very well, and a lot of times I have to re-configure it with my Mac to get it working again. Intuos4 Wireless Digital Tablet is rated 4.
I believe a large tablet would actually be a little more challenging. Wirelss tablet features a Bluetooth interface, communicating with a compatible computer system without wires. After that I have to remove the device and re-add it back into the computer. The pen sensitivity takes a little getting used to but is times better than a mouse.

The bluetooth connection works great. This will give me the new features intoduced jntuos4 the newer product, a slight reduction in the footprint on my desktop, while still providing a large enough tablet area to maintain control of my editing. The surface of the intuos4 feels like cheap plastic.
I only have one issue at this time and not sure if its a setting or the way the tablet really is. These controls are located on one side of the tablet, in a symmetrical layout.
